Long Island Marine surprises his little brother

FREEPORT (WABC) -- Third grader Emilio Pereira was expecting to Skype with his big brother, who is serving in Afghanistan, on Friday.

Emilio's class at Leo F. Giblyn Elementary School in Freeport prepared questions to ask U.S. Marine Arturo Velasquez when he joined them from Afghanistan.

Eight-year-old Emilio hadn't see his brother since April.

But Velasquez wasn't in Afghanistan. He was just feet away from the classroom, preparing for his own special Christmas mission.
