Bar Refaeli, a model and Leonardo DiCaprio's ex-girlfriend, was honored with the top spot on Maxim magazine's Hot 100 list this week.
"I am shocked that among all these beautiful ladies, I'm No. 1," Refaeli told Maxim. "Thank you so much for voting for me! I'm truly honored. This is a title I will never forget."
"Maxim readers not only appreciate a beautiful-looking woman," Maxim Editor Dan Bova told USA Today. "They like women who have a great sense of fun, who are kind of like guy's guys. A lot of these women are in comedies or are just big personalities. They're not above it all. They like to do silly things. And I think our guys respond to a woman who is not only beautiful, she's also approachable. She would probably be the coolest person on Earth to hang out with."
Other stars who made this year's list include Olivia Munn, Mila Kunis, Katy Perry, Olivia Wilde, Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Stone and Megan Fox. For the first time in Hot 100 history, readers could vote on the list and make their own write-ins, which led to a few surprising results, like "Family Guy" cartoon matriarch Lois Griffin, one-time murder suspect Amanda Knox and Stephen Colbert (no, really - he's No. 69). "The Colbert Nation turned out in force," Bova said. "As we say: Democracy isn't pretty, but this time, it was downright handsome."
Some celebrities who have topped the list in past years include Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Olivia Wilde, Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Simpson and Eva Longoria, who won twice.
The Hot 100 list will appear in Maxim's June issue, which is slated to his newsstands on May 29.
Refaeli made headlines earlier in the month after joining Facebook and posting a photo of herself jumping topless. In the picture, taken on a beach, she wears bikini bottoms and a big smile and holds her hands over her chest while airborne. Rocks on the sand spell out "GO BAR."
The 26-year-old model, who has appeared in Sports Illustrated's annual Swimsuit Issue, recently launched her own underwear line, Under.Me. She has also added another project to her busy schedule.
"I'm shooting a movie... It's basically- 2 hours work and 10 hours wait a day!!" she Tweeted on Wednesday, without elaborating.
The supermodel, who is also known as the ex-girlfriend of actor Leonardo DiCaprio, has appeared in a 2011 independent drama film called "Session" and on an Israeli television show in 2005.
