Chuck Norris warns: 'Our great country as we know it may be lost forever' -Video

Actor Chuck Norris recently appeared in a political ad alongside his wife Gena Norris to issue a warning to America.

In the video, which can be viewed below, Norris warns, "Our great country and freedom are under attack. We're at a tipping point and quite possibly, our country as we know it may be lost forever if we don't change the course our country is headed."

"We know you love your family and your freedom as much as Gena and I do and it is because of that we can no long sit quietly or stand on the sidelines while our country go by the way of socialism or something much worse," he later adds.

The 72-year-old action star, who recently appeared in "The Expendables 2," has been a noted supporter of Republican candidates for years and endorsed Newt Gingrich back in January when the politician was running to be the Republican candidate in the presidential election on November 6.

In the past, Norris has donated more than $45,000 to right-wing groups such as the Tea Party Express and the National Republican Trust and to candidates such as George W. Bush, his father George H.W. Bush and former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee.

Norris' wife also speaks in the ad several times including an instance where she encourages evangelical Christians to vote in the next election.

"With our country at a cross roads Chuck and I have asked ourselves what we can be doing to help support this great country we're blessed to live in and how we can encourage our like-minded brothers and sisters to unite and let their voices be heard," she says. "It is estimated that in the 2008 election, 30 million evangelical Christians stayed home on voting day and Obama won the election by 10 million votes."

Norris lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife Gena and their 9-year-old twin son and daughter, Dakota and Danilee. Norris rose to fame with the 1990s series "Walker: Texas Ranger" and has inspired online lists of fan-written "facts" - such as, "There are only two things that can cut diamonds: Other diamonds, and Chuck Norris."

Norris does not endorse Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney in the ad. The commercial comes on the heels of actor and director Clint Eastwood's speech at the Republican National Convention where he criticized President Obama and address an empty chair as the president.

Check out Chuck Norris' ad below.

Betty White unveils her $300K Madame Tussauds wax figure (Video)

Betty White unveils her Madame Tussauds wax figureBetty White talks about getting her own wax figure

Former "Golden Girls" actress Betty White became the oldest celebrity to be honored with a wax figure at Madame Tussauds on Monday, June 4.

"I'm 90 years old. You don't expect this kind of an honor at 90," White told OnTheRedCarpet.com at the unveiling ceremony in Los Angeles.

"It's a weird feeling to see her standing there. She won't even look at me - she hasn't glanced at me one time," White joked of her wax figure. "It was supposed to happen back with 'The Golden Girls' but Bea Arthur wouldn't do it."

White joined the ranks of other Hollywood stars who have received wax figures, including Audrey Hepburn, Angelina Jolie and Marilyn Monroe. The actress said it was an honor that she didn't take lightly. A representative from Madame Tussauds said that the figure cost $300,000 to make and required hundreds of photos of the actress.

"I want to thank Madame Tussauds Hollywood for taking their sweet time in making my wax figure," said White said in a statement. "Would it have killed them to do this 50 years ago before gravity took over? Seriously though, it will be an honor to stand among the greats like George Burns and Lucille Ball."

White, who is the only surviving cast member of "Golden Girls," has made a comeback recently, appearing in films like "The Proposal" and "You Again." She currently stars in "Hot in Cleveland," which will air its series finale on June 6 on TV Land.

The actress has also become one of the most popular senior television stars, especially following a "Saturday Night Live" hosting stint in 2010, which earned the "Golden Girls" star her fifth Emmy Award.

White, a longtime animal rights activist, is a co-chair of the Los Angeles Zoo. She has also worked with the American Humane Association for years.

Sasquatch hunters are headed to Idaho after a high school student there released video he says he shot in the woods.

He and fellow students were working on a school project when they saw a large, dark figure looking at them.

Search for Mickey Shunick: Video of cyclist found

Investigators who've expanded their search after combing the area where Michaela "Mickey" Shunick disappeared found surveillance video showing a glimpse of someone riding a bicycle who they believe could be the Louisiana student.

The footage is too blurry to tell whether the person is Shunick, a senior anthropology major at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, police said. The 22-year-old left friend Brettly Wilson's house on her bike last week after a night out, and hasn't been heard from since.

As investigators and the woman's family expand the search, even sending out a recorded plea for help mentioning a $25,000 reward for information, some people in the area where she vanished have begun to wonder whether Shunick was abducted at all.

"What concerns us is, where is her bicycle?" Det. Stephen Bajat of the Lafayette police department said. "If it is some kind of abduction, most people would snatch and go on and not concern themselves with the bicycle."

Investigators searching for any clues have found no cellphone, purse or virtually any trace of Shunick since she left Wilson's house on her bicycle at 2 a.m. Saturday morning.

"The only way to solve this is if someone comes forward with a tip -- and [investigators] need the public," former FBI profiler and ABC News consultant Brad Garrett said.

Hundreds of people from the community and beyond have come to aid in the search for Shunick. So many are coming to help that the volunteer headquarters had to be moved to the nearby university to accommodate them all.

Now Equusearch, the well-known search and recovery group, has turned out in force.

"We're hoping for the best," Tim Miller of Equusearch said. "We don't sugarcoat anything. It does not look good, doesn't look good at all, but we believe in miracles."

Wilson, the last person to see her the night she vanished, has turned to the Web with his plea for assistance in the search. He has posted a YouTube clip seeking help via social media.

"This is the power of social media ... To bring back somebody, and end a family's heartbreak … You have the chance to extend the information about this young woman to everyone you know," Wilson says in the clip.

Friends and family held a candle light vigil Tuesday night, and announced a reward for tips leading to her whereabouts. Searches by K-9 units, police and volunteers have turned up no hints of what happened, but her family remains hopeful.

A benefit concert is scheduled for the weekend to increase the $25,000 reward for information on what happened to Shunick.

Shunick is 5-foot-1 and 115 pounds. She was last seen wearing a pastel multi-colored striped shirt, light-wash skinny jeans and gray shoes.

Johnny Depp says inspiration for Willy Wonka was an 'incredibly stoned' George Bush - See video

Johnny Depp has made a career out of eccentric characters in films like "The Pirates of the Caribbean," "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," "Edward Scissorhands" and his upcoming film "Dark Shadows."

During his appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on May 8, which can be seen below, Depp explained the inspiration for many of his characters including Willy Wonka.

"The idea behind Willy Wonka ... certain ingredients you add to these characters. Willy Wonka, for example, I imagined what George Bush would be like incredibly stoned," Depp said. "And thus was born my version of Willy Wonka."

"Scissorhands was a combination, you know the idea of like a newborn seeing things for the first time and also a dog that I'd had," Depp added. "This dog that I had with this sort of unconditional love. This sort of purity in my dog. Those were the basic ingredients."

Depp next co-stars with Michelle Pfeiffer, Chlo? Moretz and Bonham Carter in "Dark Shadows," which is based on a cult TV show and is set for release on May 11.

Depp plays an 18th century playboy named Barnabas Collins. He breaks the heart of a witch who turns him into a vampire and buries him alive. Barnabas is dug up in 1972 and meets his dysfunctional descendants and they all carry secrets of their own.

The "Dark Shadows" TV series aired from 1966 until 1971. Jonathan Frid, the star of the television series, reportedly filmed a cameo for the movie before his death on April 14.

Watch Johnny Depp's appearance on "Ellen" and a trailer for the "Dark Shadows" movie below.

Video shows police confrontation with former Marine

WHITE PLAINS (WABC) -- There is new information in the deadly police shooting of a former Marine by cops in White Plains. Eyewitness News got a look at dramatic evidence seen by a grand jury, which on Thursday refused to indict the officers for the death of Kenneth Chamberlain.

So what does it show?

For nearly an hour, the tense stand off between Chamberlain and White Plains police played out.

Chamberlain: "I know I'm going to get hurt, I know that."
Police: "We can't leave until we check you out."

Video from the cops taser gun was recording as the 68-year-old Chamberlain refused to open the door and begged police to leave.

Chamberlain: "I did not call you. Why are you here? Why are you here?"

Police responded to his apartment at 5 a.m. last November because Chamberlain's medical alert was triggered.

Police: "Alarm went off. We need to check you out. You know we aren't going nowhere."

But Chamberlain, who sounded scared, refused to open the door.

Chamberlain: "They're getting ready to kill me or beat me up...They have shotguns, stun guns. They have their glocks out."

The grainy video makes it hard to see, but at one point, Chamberlain shows a butcher knife through a gap in the door.

Police: "Put the knife down and step away from the door. We're going to come in and see you."

Again, Chamberlain refuses to let them in. Eventually, police are able to grab the knife with bolt cutters. The stand off going nowhere, police take the hinges off the door and begin to kick it down.

Chamberlain: "They're taking hinges off the door. They're getting ready to break through."

With the door down, police begin to tase Chamberlain, whom officers said was threatening them with a knife.

Police: Put the knife down.
Chamberlain: Shoot me, come on

The taser video ends, and seconds later, White Plains officer Anthony Carelli shoots and kills Chamberlain. The video and audio made up the crux of the evidence seen by the grand jury, and District Attorney Janet DiFiore said that evidence convinced them police did not use excessive force.

"We did everything we could and should do to put before that grand jury every piece of relevant and admissible evidence," she said.

Chamberlain's son says he's not surprised by the failure to indict.

"If you look at several other incidents where there have been questionable shootings by police officers in Westchester County, the DA has failed to indict any of them," Kenneth Chamberlain, Jr., said.

The family says they will not give up their pursuit of justice, and they plan to ask Attorney General Eric Holder to intervene.

Eyewitness NewsSAUDI ARABIA (WABC) -- Drivers in Saudi Arabia were swerving hard as they found themselves caught in the middle of a road-runner cartoon with a 400-pound ostrich.

The bird showed no fear, even getting clipped at one point and dropping to the ground.

But he was back up in a moment, unhurt.

He circled around a fast-food restaurant and merged back into the flow of traffic.

It's not clear where he came from, but he had the speed to get anywhere he wanted.

Alec Baldwin Wegmans ads with mom pulled, then reinstated (Video)

The people have spoken: They want to see Alec Baldwin at Weggies.

The central New York-based supermarket chain Wegmans Food Markets recently pulled television advertisements featuring the 53-year-old "30 Rock" actor and his mother following what it says were "a couple of dozen complaints," without elaborating. In December, Baldwin was kicked off an American Airlines flight for refusing to turn off his iPhone, which he was using to play the "Scrabble"-like game "Words With Friends." He later blasted the airline on Twitter.

On Wednesday, January 4, Wegmans Food Markets said it will air the commercials again after even more people complained about its move to pull it.

"We regret ending the Alec Baldwin holiday commercials one week earlier than planned in response to a couple of dozen complaints," Wegmans Food Markets said in a statement obtained by OnTheRedCarpet.com. "We have decided to run the commercials again, effective immediately."

"Clearly, many more people support Alec, as evidenced by the hundreds and hundreds of tweets, emails, and phone calls we have received. We enjoyed working with Alec Baldwin and his mom, Carol, and would do it again. We appreciate all the kind things they have said about Wegmans and respect the good work they do for communities."

A spokesperson for Wegmans Food Markets had no immediate comment about the nature of the original complaints about its commercials with Baldwin.

The actor is outspoken about his liberal views. Most New York State counties containing major cities, such as Syracuse, voted Democrat in the 2008 election. However, most of the state's rural communities, many of which contain Wegmans stores, have traditionally supported Republican candidates.

In one of the ads, which ran on local television stations during the 2011 Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday season, Baldwin appears with his mother, Carol, at a Wegmans store in Camillus, New York, near her home in the city of Syracuse. Wegmans Food Markets, dubbed "Weggies" by fans of the chain, also operates supermarkets in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, Maryland and Massachusetts.

"Mom, it's 40 below zero here, six months of the year. When are you going to move to L.A. and live with Billy?" Baldwin asks his mother, referring to his actor brother.

"And leave my Wegmans?" she asks.

The exchange mimics a story Baldwin told on "The Late Show with David Letterman" in April 2011, in which he joked that his mother would never move to California due to her love for Wegmans.

Check out one of Alec Baldwin's ads for Wegmans below (starts at 4:05).

Zooey Deschanel, Joseph Gordon-Levitt strum New Year's Eve duet (Video)

Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt have paired up for another project - but this time, it isn't a film.

Deschanel and Gordon-Levitt, who both co-starred in the 2009 film "500 Days Of Summer," have teamed up to create a video that has quickly become a YouTube sensation. Deschanel posted a video to her website, hellogiggles.com, featuring the two performing a duet to Nancy Wilson's 1963 song, "What Are You Doing New Year's Eve?" The video, which features the two strumming a cover to the classic song, has garnered over 1 million views - overnight.

Along with posting the "karaoke special" to her website, she also posted a blurb about her co-star and "dear friend," Gordon-Levitt.

"I have known Joe Gordon-Levitt for going on 12 years," the performer wrote on her website. "We first met in the summer of 2000 while doing a tiny movie called Manic, where we bonded over a mutual appreciation for Harry Nilsson and Nina Simone and I have been lucky enough to call him one of my dearest friends ever since."

"When we did 500 Days of Summer 8 years later, we spent every lunch hour dancing to Marvin Gaye in the hair and makeup trailer; we had loads of fun," she continued. "I hope to do a thousand more movies with him because he's simply the best. But in the meantime, we made a little New Year's duet for all of you! The original by Nancy Wilson. ENJOY! Don't forget to check out Joe's website http://hitrecord.org/"

For the debut of the festive video, the 31-year-old actress and singer took to her Twitter account.

"Go to http://www.hellogiggles.com at exactly 11am PST for an exciting new video from @hitRECordJoe and me!" she Tweeted on December 29.

Gordon-Levitt, 30, reTweeted the actress the same night, adding a happy face to his post.

Deschanel recently made headlines for her reported separation from Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard. The two were married in September 2009.

It was announced in September that her series "The New Girl" was picked up for a full-season by Fox. Her character, named Jess Day, is an awkward 20-something who finds out her boyfriend is cheating on her and is forced to live on her own. Day moves in to an apartment with three male roommates, and the antics begin.

Deschanel, who aside from acting also sings in the indie rock band She & Him, recently sang the national anthem during Game 4 of the World Series. She & Him released a Christmas album on October 24.

In April 2011, it was confirmed that Gordon-Levitt would be a part of the highly-anticipated 2012 Batman film, "The Dark Knight Rises." The actor will be playing John Blake, a Gotham City beat cop assigned to special duty under the command of Commissioner Gordon. Gordon-Levitt will be joined by his "Inception" co-stars Marion Cotillard, who plays Wayne Enterprises board member Miranda Tate, and Tom Hardy, who portrays the villain Bane.

It was confirmed in mid-January that Anne Hathaway will star in "The Dark Knight Rises" as Selina Kyle, whose alter-ego is Catwoman. In the DC comic books, the character is the love interest of Bruce Wayne, who masquerades as the superhero Batman.

"The Dark Knight Rises" is set for release on July 20, 2012.

Missing ex-FBI agent in hostage video: 'Help Me'

A new "proof of life" video emerged Friday of former FBI agent Robert Levinson who disappeared in Iran in 2007, the first substantial piece of public evidence that he is alive and being held as a captive by an unknown group.

In the video, posted by his family on their website, Levinson appears gaunt and says his diabetes medication is running out.

He does not name his captors but pleads for the United States to deal with them.

"I need the help of the United States government to answer the requests of the group that has held me for three and a half years," he said, wearing a thin shirt and sitting on the floor in front of a rock facing.

"Please help me get home. Thirty-three years of service to the United States deserves something. Please help me," Levinson said on the tape, his voice breaking.

The family reportedly received the tape last November but is making it public only now. In a statement on the family website, Levinson's wife, Christine, and son, David, seek to send a message to the group holding the former FBI agent.

"We tried to contact you but you never responded," Levinson's son said.

"No one can help us but you," he said.

Levinson disappeared in 2007 on the Iranian island of Kish where he had gone as part of his work as a private investigator.

U.S. officials say Levinson was not operating in any way on behalf of the U.S. government or any of its agencies at the time of his disappearance.

Iran has repeatedly denied any knowledge of what happened to Levinson, despite the evidence he was last seen in Iran.

Man in McDonald's beating video speaks out

Web produced by Jennifer Matarese, Eyewitness NewsNEW YORK (WABC) -- A former McDonald's employee cleared of beating two unruly customers is speaking out for the first time.

The confrontation was caught on camera.

One customer had a broken skull.

Still, a grand jury refused to indict him.

"Only when they came up on me, that's when I started swinging it," said Rayon McIntosh, the former McDonald's employee.

Former fast food worker Rayon McIntosh says he never wanted to be a YouTube sensation, certainly not this way, caught on a cell phone video beating two unruly female customers at a Greenwich Village McDonald's in October.

But the 31-year-old ex-con, working the overnight shift, trying to turn his life around, says he did what he had to do against two women who took their verbal threats to the physical level.

"She f--- me up. She cut me up, I'm an immigrant. I'm still trying to tell her, you know, 'Can you please calm down? This isn't serious.' That's when she spit on me, slapped me from across the counter where the patrons are supposed to be. She spit on me first, and followed with a smack in my face," McIntosh said.

She then jumped over the counter, and her friend went to head McIntosh off.

He says he felt trapped.

"I just picked up the first thing that was in my reach. It was a metal and aluminum rod, very bendable, very thin. It's a long metal rod with a handle, you can bend it like this," McIntosh said.

It was a rod used to scrape the grill.

"You can see she clearly come to the back, and that's when I started swinging it. I thought she had a weapon," McIntosh said.

"I guess the question is, why keep hitting them?" Eyewitness News Investigative reporter Sarah Wallace asked.

"Because they still keep coming at me, you're not thinking rational, you're just thinking to keep this person at bay," McIntosh said.

"So you think you were absolutely justified in continuing to hit them?" Wallace asked.

"Yes, because they still keep coming towards me," McIntosh said.

"And then it becomes after the first blow, does it continue to be self-defense?" Wallace asked.

"You are just in survival mode. That's the only answer I could give," McIntosh said.

"It looks like you hit one of them when she was on the ground, trying to defend yourself," Wallace said.

"Oh, because she kept getting up and telling me, when she get up, she's going to f--- me up," McIntosh said.

Even though Myika Darbeau suffered a fractured skull and arm and Rachel Edwards was cut, a grand jury declined last week to indict McIntosh for felony assault.

He'd gotten out of prison last March after serving 11 years for manslaughter and was terrified at the thought of going back.

"Do you have any regrets about this?" Wallace asked.

"I'm sorry that it happened. All I wanted to do was work my shift and go back home. I wasn't looking for trouble. I learned that my freedom is the most important thing that I got," McIntosh said.

Giuliana Rancic announces she will undergo a double mastectomy - Video

Giuliana Rancic returned to "The Today Show" on Monday, December 5, to update viewers on health and announced that she will undergo a double mastectomy as part of her treatment for breast cancer.

The E! News host, who announced that she had early stages of breast cancer on October 5, appeared on the morning talk show with her husband when she said she decided to undergo the procedure after the lumpectomies she previously had did not effectively eliminate the cancer.

Her husband Bill Rancic, explained that the couple was going to a follow up appointment with her doctor when they learned the news.

"The next day we were going into the doctor hoping for some good news and unfortunately the one breast they weren't able to clear the margins and get all the cancer out," he said. "So we were then faced with a decision to make. Do you go back and do another lumpectomy and try to clean it out or do you go for another more radical procedure."

Giuliana Rancic also said that her desire to have child played "a big part" of her decision to get the double mastectomy but "not all of it."

"If I had chosen to just do another lumpectomy and then do radiation and then do anti-estrogen therapy, which means two to five years of medication, that basically puts me into early menopause," Giuliana Rancic said. "Then I would have to put off having a baby for several years. So that was something we took into account."

Giuliana married Bill Rancic, the winner of the first season of "The Apprentice," in 2007. The couple launched their own reality show, "Giuliana & Bill" in 2009.

She added, "To be honest, at the end all it came down to was just choosing to live and not looking over my shoulder for the rest of my life."

Bill Rancic said the two spoke with several experts and specialists before making the decision. "If she would have gone with the lumpectomy and radiation, then you have to go in every six months for the rest of your life getting mammograms," he said.

"Knowing Giuliana, she's going to be worrying three weeks before the mammogram, waiting for the results worrying and you're always looking over your shoulder," he added. "So I think in this particular case this was the best option for Giuliana."

"With the double mastectomy I have less than a 1 percent chance of getting it back," Giuliana Rancic said. "With another lumpectomy, radiation and medication, I could have seen 20 to 30 to 40 percent chance in my lifetime and for me it just wasn't worth it."

"I couldn't be more at peace with the decision. But it's hard, and I still break down some nights," Giuliana Rancic added. But I'm okay."

Russell Brand addresses divorce rumors, 'I am really happily married' - See video

Just a day after Katy Perry took to her official Twitter page to deny rumors that she and husband Russell Brand were heading for a divorce, Brand addressed the rumors himself with his trademark comedic wit.

The comedian appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres" show on December 2 and talked about the internet's role in the rumors. "There are always rumors, aren't there? In the end you have to just not engage with Internet technology," he said. "Which is difficult because a lot of the nude women websites I quite enjoy!"

"I've treated the whole Internet now as if it's a wicked little liar," he added. "Yeah. I am really happily married."

Perry, 27, and Brand, 36, were married on October 23, 2010 in a traditional Hindu ceremony in Rajasthan, India, where Brand also proposed to the singer. The two began dating in September 2009 after the singer performed on the MTV Video Music Awards that were hosted by Brand.

"Being famous is like a little bit of you is taken away and goes off and lives on its own and does what it wants. I wish it would do more interesting things," he said about his fame and how rumors get started. "I'm married to Katy, perpetually. Until death do us part was the pledge. I'm still alive."

Brand also talked about his desire to start a family. "I really would like one," he told DeGeneres about having children. "I love those little babies in the beginning. They're so lovely at that bit."

Though Brand is looking forward to having children eventually, Perry has had to deny rumors that she is already pregnant. In fact, in her Twitter statement to deny the divorce rumors, Perry compared herself to a famous soap character.

"First I'm pregnant & then I'm divorced. What am I 'All My Children'?! #ericakane #pshhh #ifihadadollarforeverytime," Perry wrote, referring to the soap opera character played by Susan Lucci on the long running series.

Last month the singer laughed off rumors that she was expecting telling "The Insider" that the bump people saw in her tight-fitting dress at the American Music Awards was from too much fast food.

"I like In-N-Out Burger and Taco Bell and if you want to make that pregnant that's your problem," she told the entertainment program. "I still love drinking alcohol so not yet."

Up next for Brand is the role of Lonnie in "Rock of Ages" musical with Tom Cruise. Check out Brand's interview with Ellen DeGeneres below.
