2 stabbed in Massapequa parking lot

  Eyewitness NewsMASSAPEQUA (WABC) -- A Good Samaritan is credited with saving a woman from an attack in the parking lot of a Massapequa shopping center.

The stabbing happened in the lot of the shopping center in the 900 block of Carmans Road in Massapequa around 10:00 a.m.

According to investigators, some sort of attack involving a man and a woman was taking place inside a car.

A Good Samaritan heard the attack, break a window on the vehicle and the attack stopped.

A man and a woman were taken to local hospitals in serious condition.

Police say this is an active investigation. They would not say whether or not they are looking for a suspect.

No word on motive.
