Eyewitness NewsNEW YORK (WABC) -- A Bronx man is believed to have gunned down the suspect who shot him in the leg when he opened the door of his Parkchester apartment. The 23-year-old man was apparently shot in the leg after opening the door of his Unionport Road home just after 1 a.m.
Authorities say he then grabbed and knife and a gun and returned fire, shooting and stabbing the suspect.
The suspect was pronounced dead, and the resident initially shot in the leg was in stable condition at Jacobi Medical Center.Marijuana and other drug paraphernalia were found in the apartment.
